HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST
Location: Aurora, Colorado
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Administrative:
Assists with the on-boarding process of new hires, to include background checks and reference checking
Supports recruiting efforts and assists as needed
Maintains accurate I-9 information for compliance to be audit ready; E-Verify experience a plus
Maintains confidential employee records
Supports the Executive area as needed
Prepares and edits letters, emails, reports, and memos
Arranges meetings, appointments, and travel for applicants
Administers and maintains Service Awards program for all locations
Reviews and updates HR content and policies on Company Intranet
Maintain compliance with Labor Law Posters for all locations
Organizational:
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal responsibilities
Assists with the development and updates of HR communications, company handbook, and job descriptions
Advises managers and supervisors about the steps of progressive discipline
Assists with employee wellness and health initiatives and other information
Assists employees with any HR related questions and concerns
Assists with performance management and improvement systems
Organizes and participates in Career Fairs to promote opportunities

Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn HRIS systems; Ultimate Software experience preferred
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
4 years of experience working in Human Resources
Administrative / Clerical Experience: 3-5 years
Customer Service Experience: 3-5 years
